A Love to Outlast Any Storm || Burlap & Beams Wedding Video
Julia & Noah's rustic barn wedding in upstate NY was nearly a washout! Fortunately the downpours took a break long enough for one spectacular wedding ceremony overlooking the Adirondack mountains at Burlap & Beams Wedding Barn. Julia and Noah are simply the CUTEST and clearly had the time of their lives at their wedding. As did we all!!
I have personally known Julia MY ENTIRE LIFE. She is an awesome, sweet, creative individual who also happens to film with JMF! As a result I got to enjoy this wedding as a guest while JMF Associate videographer Erik took over for the day.
Burlap & Beams is a gorgeous and unique rustic venue in the NY Adirondacks. Julia & Noah had a wild day with downpours before and after their ceremony! About 15 minutes before the ceremony started the skies opened up. The DJ and I had just set up our equipment and had to quickly move everything under cover.
Fortunately the sun came back out and Nicole’s great workers jumped in to dry off the seats and the ceremony spot was good as new.
Julia got ready in the small bridal cabin on site with her bridesmaids and mother.
Noah and his fellas got ready in one of the gorgeous side barns at the venue.
Then it was time for Julia & Noah’s first look down the hill by the creek in a beautiful secret spot on the property!
Their adventurous attitudes meant nothing was going to stop them from getting some great shots!
Of SO MANY beautiful touches that Julia had prepared for the day was her beautiful, thoughtful gifts for her groom and parents. This little note on the back of Noah’s tie was a beautiful touch, that she had to point out to him to make sure he saw!
While I was flying the drone, Erik caught this heartwarming moment when father-of-the-bride Gary saw his daughter as a bride for the first time.
Julia had another custom tie for her father 😭and a custom purse with a picture of her young self with her mother for mother-of-the-bride Kathy.
Both parents walked Julia down the aisle for a beautiful ceremony that was punctuated by ominous thunder cracks in the sky, but it held out just long enough for an entirely dry ceremony.
Julia & Noah literally tying the knot.
My people cheering them on below! Note JMF alums Devon & Lyssa whose wedding we capture 2 weeks earlier on the right.
Julia did a lot of DIY projects leading up to the wedding. And although she hilariously stated to me, “More like D-I-WHY did I do this?” the touches were absolutely beautiful additions to their wedding. day.
Events by Cool Cat rocked out the dancing portion of the evening in the main barn for one big party.
Congratulations to this amazing couple! We love you both and are so happy to have been part of your special day. ❤️
